Top Reasons to Invest

Baggerbot

Hello, I’m Thomas Burns, President and CFO of Brigade Automation Corporation, the creator of the Baggerbot! Our goal is to revolutionize the way that we respond to weather and climate disasters. The humble sandbag, sitting at 1.2” in diameter, is absolutely critical to the way humanity will adapt and respond to sudden climate emergencies.

Our contribution? We have created Baggerbot, an extraordinary robotic engine that can make 1,600 sandbags per hour, running 24 hours a day!

We’re excited you’re here and interested in learning more about our investment opportunity! Let’s sit down and take a moment to highlight the top reasons to consider investing in Baggerbot on StartEngine!

Market Opportunity

The Problem

Since 1980 alone, the United States has sustained 291 weather and climate disasters – exceeding a total cost of $1.9 trillion in damages. There’s up to $55B in annual losses due to damage from wind and flood.

Sandbags are a cost-effective tool to fight against the staggering water damage caused by floods and storms. They have been a critical resource for protection against flood and storm damage for hundreds of years.

The raw, escalating intensity of weather and climate disasters demands that communities be prepared for extreme weather events. But the process of manually producing, loading and handling sandbags – the foundational unit of any flood defense – with human labor is too slow, causing injuries and fatigue to volunteers.

The Solution

Baggerbot can rapidly fill and sew sandbags at a rate of 1600 per hour with minimal human labor, operable 24 hours a day!

Reasons to Invest

Why Invest?

  • Our working prototype is ready to be brought to market.
  • Baggerbot’s ease of transportation makes it viable for a wide range of different applications: from emergency response to construction, landscape, oil industry, sea wall, and even industrial business bag packaging!
  • Eliminating the risk of human injury by replacing human labor with our robotic technology will both speed disaster response and protect people’s lives, freeing them up for other tasks during the disaster.
  • According to the American Society of Civil Engineers’s (ASCE) 2021 Report Card, the US needs to invest $6 trillion by 2029 to protect against massive economic losses caused by extreme weather events.
